Paris Saint-Germain are looking to strengthen their central defense in the upcoming summer transfer window, and their top target appears to be Leny Yoro from LOSC Lille. Moreover, two Premier League clubs could be out of the running for the youngster.
The 18-year-old appeared in 44 matches across all competitions for Les Dogues this season. With these games under his belt, the teenager proved he’s more than ready for the responsibility of starting center-back.
Yoro’s contract expires in a year, and if he does not renew, the club will have to sell him this summer. So, it looks like they’ll probably aim to secure a transfer fee instead of risking him leaving as a free agent.
Nonetheless, two teams that could lose the race are Manchester United and Liverpool. According to Mirror Football, both Premier League clubs are set to lose the race to sign Yoro.
The report also reveals that PSG have had a £43 million bid accepted for the defender. On Tuesday, information from Sports Zone revealed that there’s an agreement in principle between PSG and LOSC for Yoro for a little over €50 million.

Additionally, the report notes that Lille’s president, Olivier Létang, was removed from discussions because the French club need funds, so it might be that Yoro is bound for the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
