The Mirror recently reported that Liverpool and Manchester United would be out of the running for LOSC Lille Leny Yoro. However, the Reds might still be in the running for the talented youngster who is on Paris Saint-Germain’s radar.
The 18-year-old played in 44 matches for Les Dogues this season, showing he’s more than ready to take on the role of starting center-back.
Yoro’s contract expires in a year, and if he does not renew, the club will have to sell him this summer. So, it looks like they’ll probably aim to secure a transfer fee instead of risking him leaving as a free agent.
While PSG might be seen as the front-runner for the player, Liverpool remains a threat to them. According to Le Parisien, Liverpool are gearing up to compete with PSG and Real Madrid in the race to sign Yoro, aiming to bring him to Anfield this summer.
