Paris Saint-Germain snagged Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan on a free transfer with high hopes of strengthening their defense. Nonetheless, as he eases into his first season in Paris, he finds the journey quite demanding.
Last month, a report from L’Equipe hinted that the veteran defender might leave after his transfer from San Siro to the Parc des Princes last year. Inside the club, there’s discontentment, and a search is underway for a new central defender.
On Wednesday, L’Equipe again provided an update on the situation. According to the French media outlet, the former Inter Milan player hasn’t wholly convinced his coach or the sporting management, especially since his return from injury.
Skriniar’s professionalism is praised internally, but his style of play doesn’t necessarily align with the preferences of the Spanish coach. To the extent that PSG is questioning the Slovak’s future.
In his circle, they can’t imagine leaving the club this summer. In any case, no message to that effect has been conveyed to him.

Nonetheless, the Parisians had already begun revamping the central defense with Lucas Beraldo’s arrival, and Leny Yoro is a realistic target heading into the summer.
