Report: PSG’s Starting XI Revealed for First Leg Clash Against Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain will welcome FC Barcelona on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. The Parisians aim to secure an advantage at home before the scene changes to the Spanish city and manager Luis Enrique already has his ideal starting 11 for the match.

According to Le Parisien, Gianluigi Donnarumma will start as the goalkeeper for PSG. On defense, the Spanish manager intends to go with Nuno Mendes at left-back, Lucas Beraldo and Lucas Hernandez as his center-back pair, and Marquinhos at right-back to compensate for Achraf Hakimi’s absence due to the Morrocan’s suspension.

In the midfield, the 53-year-old will reportedly go with Warren Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, and Fabian Ruiz. On the attack, Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé will see Kang-in Lee join them to provide an offensive punch.

The capital club’s attack will need to come prepared as Mundo Deportivo reports that PSG expect an anti-Mbappé plan from Barcelona. In their locker room, there is talk of the possibility that Ronald Araujo or perhaps Jules Koundé will mark Mbappé.
