LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro appears to be on the move this summer transfer window. The center-back’s contract expires in 2025, and he’ll need to decide his future. If he doesn’t want to extend his deal, Lille will need to sell.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are the two teams vying for the 18-year-old. However, the Spanish club could be taking the lead over the Parisians as they navigate a way to secure the player and ensure that Les Dogues are happy with the deal, too.
According to information from Ramón Álvarez de Mon (h/t Le10Sport), Real Madrid has even found a solution to complete the transfer of Yoro. The Merengue club could, therefore, consider completing the transfer of the young Frenchman this summer before loaning him to LOSC for a season.
This innovative solution could potentially allow Real Madrid to outmaneuver PSG in the race for Yoro. If Lille qualifies for the UEFA Champions League, they could retain the player.
Additionally, Real Madrid could see their young talent continue to grow, avoiding the risk of being down in the depth chart behind more experienced center-backs.
