Real Madrid Stays Calm Amid Kylian Mbappé Situation Despite Recent Remarks from Luis Enrique

This past week, Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique openly appealed to Kylian Mbappé, expressing his hope that he will remain with his hometown club.

Mbappé hasn’t revealed his decision regarding his future yet as he becomes a free agent in June. Nevertheless, the Spanish coach emphasized that if PSG manages to have a remarkable run to conclude the 2023-24 season, he would prefer to see the 25-year-old stay.

On Sunday, SPORT reported that the Parisians are confident in Mbappé’s comfort. He’s the most in-form player in Europe, and they’ve meticulously built a team around him to make him shine, a testament to their unwavering support.

They’ve given him everything, and they’ll continue to support him even more in the future. In Madrid, he’ll be the leader, a role that comes with its own set of challenges. He’ll face competition from players like Vinicius or Bellingham, which means he’ll have to share the spotlight, a decision not to be taken lightly.

Furthermore, the Real Madrid leaders are calm after Enrique’s remarks, although they haven’t closed the deal yet. They know how the player and his entourage operate, and they were already embarrassed in their first attempt to sign him. And PSG isn’t giving up. The Champions League could be very decisive.

It’ll be intriguing to watch if PSG wins the treble this season, given their strong position. However, Mbappé might view these trophies as a farewell gesture to PSG, signaling a new chapter in his career. Nonetheless, Enrique’s remarks to the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner seem like a last-ditch effort.
