The UEFA Champions League semifinals are underway this week, and Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are level at 2-2 after 90 minutes. On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will face Borussia Dortmund, and one player for Los Blancos might want to face the capital club.
PSG and Borussia Dortmund will be an intriguing matchup considering the two clubs have already faced each other in the group stage. Both teams likely know what the other wants to do. Nonetheless, Antonio Rüdiger does want to see the capital club go through to defend Kylian Mbappé.
In an interview with CARRÉ, the veteran defender jokingly noted his desire to play against PSG in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley Stadium. Furthermore, he wants to go up against the Frenchman in what could be an interesting matchup between the two players.
“If I play against Mbappé in the final, we will beat him,” Rüdiger said. “If Mbappé passes me, I will smash him.”
