Barcelona on Alert: PSG Youngster Uncertain for UCL First Leg, Report Says

Paris Saint-Germain have one more contest before the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against FC Barcelona next week. Nonetheless, all eyes are on whether one standout winger will be available for the match after suffering an injury during the FIFA break.

Barcelona are having a mini-break since their last match as they are not playing this weekend before traveling to the French capital. The primary question is whether Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will play the first leg.

The capital club are also racing against time to ensure Bradley Barcola is fit for the match on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. Le Parisien reports that the 21-year-old has resumed the individual race but is ruled out for the game against Clermont Foot on Saturday.

Furthermore, the French outlet notes that Barcola’s presence in the squad to face Barça on Wednesday is hoped for, but he remains very uncertain. Knowing that Barcola is recovering from an injury, PSG isn’t taking any risk with other players as RMC Sport reports that Warren Zaïre-Emery will be rested against Clermont, so the talented teenager will come well-rested.
