PSG Wonderkid Reacts with Joy and Determination to Signing Contract Extension

Before the start of Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Le Havre, the capital club made official Warren Zaire-Emery’s contract extension. The 18-year-old signed a new deal that keeps him with the Parisians until 2029 and becomes a building block for the team.

Zaire-Emery wasted no time in rewarding PSG for extending him as the midfielder provided an assist on the goal from Bradley Barcola. The capital club would overcome a 3-1 deficit and level the scoring 3-3 for a thrilling draw against Le Havre.

After the match, the teenager spoke with Canal+ and shared his emotions regarding the contract extension.

“It’s certainly a source of pride to sign for the club that I love,” Zaire-Emery told the French media outlet (h/t Paris Fans). “I’ve been here for 11 years, I arrived in 2014 and I wanted to thank the president for the trust, the coach and the club. I also thank all the people who supported me on a daily basis in my success.”

The PSG standout has made strides this season under manager Luis Enrique who is entrusting him with vital minutes in the midfield despite his age. Additionally, Zaire-Emery has already made his debut for Les Bleus and could be playing at UEFA Euro 2024 this summer, especially if he had a stellar close to the end of the season.
