Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly lose Kylian Mbappé this summer when his contract expires in late June. Many expect the Frenchman to sign with Real Madrid and while the capital club could be looking for a forward this upcoming transfer window, they won’t pursue a Manchester United standout.
In recent months, Parisians have been associated with several attacking players, including Marcus Rashford. Additionally, fresh details have surfaced regarding the Englishman’s prospects of joining the French capital for the upcoming season.
Even though the Ligue 1 side could be in the market for an attacker this summer, it’s unlikely that it will be Rashford. According to iNews, PSG have “cooled interest” in the Englishman.
Rashford has yet to publicly indicate any intention to depart from his childhood team and remains committed with four years left on his £325,000-a-week contract.
Furthermore, the outlet notes that the capital club now have a war chest in the region of £200 million to spend with Mbappé’s wages coming off the box this summer. Still, that doesn’t mean that they’ll go looking for Rashford, as they want to replace the Frenchman with world-class talent.
