It’s been almost a year since Neymar Jr. departed Paris Saint-Germain to pursue his career with Al-Hilal. However, a recent report has shed light on the Brazilian’s last years with the French club, which led to his eventual exit.
Last year, PSG was ready to turn the page on the superstar or big-name era with the departures of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, whose contracts expired. Furthermore, the club was also prepared to sell off players like Neymar to begin a new era.
L’Equipe recently reported that last season, during a Ligue 1 match at halftime, a key player from the first team found Neymar in tears in the restroom.
“He was surprised to see him (Neymar) like that,” a person close to the club told the French media outlet. “Neymar told him (a first team starter) that no one understood him.”

From the initial unconditional love to the eventual slow and painful separation, last year undoubtedly marked a breaking point for Neymar and his dissatisfaction with PSG.
The Brazilian left the French capital, but he still deals with injuries as the veteran is currently dealing with a knee injury, which the star player suffered last November.
