It’s been nearly a year since Neymar Jr. left Paris Saint-Germain to continue his career with Al-Hilal. However, a recent report detailed the Brazilian’s final days as a member of the French giants.
According to L’Equipe, Neymar confronted Christophe Galtier’s assistant during a training session last season. His tone became elevated, and he appeared tense. Later on, Ismaël Gharbi took the ball from him during a training drill.
“Neymar caught him and gave him a brush to the head while he was on the ground,” a witness told the French media outlet. “Everyone was shocked… In the end, he really wasn’t nice.”
There’s also another issue in which Neymar treated Vitinha poorly. The report doesn’t reveal why the Brazilian was hostile toward the Portuguese midfielder last season, but it does paint a picture of the behind-the-scenes issues.
“Neymar was obnoxious towards Vitinha,” the witness added. “Vitinha denied it because he is nice and didn’t want any problems, but on several occasions, he was insulted.”

Vitinha spearheaded the initial wave of arrivals, and in his second year with Paris, he has truly blossomed. Perhaps one contributing factor to his success is the absence of dressing room issues to contend with.
