Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé are in the UEFA Champions League semifinal. The 25-year-old is back in the spotlight at the club level, where he can leave his hometown club with the trophy they have long desired.
With Manchester City standout Erling Haaland crashing out of the tournament after losing to Real Madrid, Mbappé has an opportunity to grab the title of the best player in the world with a potential birth in the Champions League and UEFA Euro 2024 on the horizon.
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro recently spoke with El Chiringuito and noted that he sees a lot of his former Real Madrid teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
“Mbappé reminds me of Cristiano,” Casemiro told the Spanish media platform. “He’s on the field, he’s smelling a goal. You have to be worried with this guy because he will score a goal. Cristiano was like that.”

If the Frenchman does perform and help PSG secure the Champions League while also winning the Euros this summer, Mbappé’s stock will skyrocket, as he’ll likely be the next Ballon d’Or winner later this year.
