Lamine Yamal Explains How Barcelona Can Defeat PSG in UCL Quarterfinal Tie

Lamine Yamal is likely hoping to emerge as the standout player, aiming to propel FC Barcelona towards a favorable outcome in this Wednesday’s first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.

With a short break preceding the match, speculation about the tactical approach the Catalan team will adopt for the upcoming game is starting to emerge. One strategy under discussion is relying on Yamal to lead the offensive charge.

The 16-year-old recently spoke with Mundo Deportivo ahead of the match in the French capital, and he revealed how Barcelona intends to attack the Parisians to ensure they leave with a positive result.

“How do you face the tie? With great enthusiasm,” Yamal told the Spanish media outlet. “It’s my first quarterfinal tie and it’s a dream to be able to play in them… What do you have to do to beat PSG? Play the way we play, our game and dominate them.”

A recent report has unveiled Xavi Hernandez’s strategy for bolstering Barcelona’s offense against PSG’s defense. Leading the attack will be a trio comprising Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha.

The question looms: will this lineup be sufficient to secure a positive outcome in Paris? Answers will come in just a few days.
