Chelsea’s Reece James was recently linked to Paris Saint-Germain as the capital club are keen to bolster their defense this summer. However, the Parisians and any other club that have their eyes on the Englishman, like Real Madrid, might be unable to lure the player from the Blues.
A couple of days ago, Football Transfers reported that PSG contacted the English defender while he was visiting Saint-Tropez recently. The Ligue 1 champions are keen on the 24-year-old player, but they might have to scratch him off their list.
According to HITC, James is not interested in leaving Chelsea this summer and the Premier League side doesn’t plan on selling the versatile defender. Furthermore, the right-back is focused on returning to fitness before the end of the season and making England’s Euro 2024 squad.
The English international is currently under contract with Chelsea until 2028. Real Madrid has been closely monitoring him in recent seasons, but as things stand, he is not a priority on their agenda for this summer.
