Champions League: Referee Unveiled for Dortmund vs. PSG First-Leg Encounter

Paris Saint-Germain will be traveling to Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday for the first-leg clash of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. Ahead of the match, the referee who will be in charge of the match has already been revealed.

Both teams are eager to get the upper hand in the first 90 minutes in Germany before the scene shifts to the Parc des Princes. The German side might be heading into this match with an injury blow.

According to a recent report, Ian Maatsen may miss the first leg due to a muscle problem, but it doesn’t confirm his absence for the entire tie. Therefore, if he sits out the initial encounter, there’s a possibility he could return for the match at the Parc des Princes.

So, who is in charge of refereeing? Englishman Anthony Taylor will be tasked with officiating the match in Germany between Dortmund and PSG.

Both these teams already know each other well. They met twice in the Champions League group stage earlier this season with PSG securing one win and the other contest resulting in a draw.
