Barcelona Fans Receive Important Call to Action from Xavi Ahead of PSG Clash

On Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain aims to reverse the 3-2 aggregate score as they head on the road to face FC Barcelona for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

Barcelona secured a 1-0 win over Cadiz on Saturday and can now turn its focus back to PSG. While the Catalan side have a slight advantage, by no means is the tie over, and that’s what manager Xavi Hernandez is stressing.

In his postgame conference with the media, Xavi called on all the supporters to support them as they attempt to advance past the Parisians and into the semifinals.

“Nothing has been decided in the PSG tie,” Xavi told reporters. “I ask the fans: go to Montjuïc, fill up the stadium, support us, and enjoy the match.”

A recent report from Le Parisien reveals that the Collectif Ultras Paris group boasted of a last-minute arrangement to secure an additional batch of 200 tickets.

As a result, the number of supporters of the Ligue 1 champion increased to 3,000, whereas initially, the allocation for the visiting fans was 2,800 seats.
