Barcelona’s Xavi Faces Dilemma: Choosing Between Two Star Midfielders for Clash Against PSG

FC Barcelona will face a challenge without two crucial players in Tuesday’s return leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

The absence of Andreas Christensen and Sergi Roberto, both suspended due to yellow card accumulation, leaves Barcelona with significant worry, especially regarding their midfield strength.

As a result, manager Xavi Hernandez will have to decide what he intends to do with his midfield over the next few hours. Mundo Deportivo and Catalunya Ràdio report that Xavi is still considering whether to start with Pedri or Fermín López against PSG.

A recent report from MARCA has shown that Xavi is keen on having Pedri on the field for the final minutes of the match against PSG. This suggests that the player might be coming off the bench, as the Catalan side is taking precautions with his return to play.

The Barcelona standout has played two games against PSG and Cadiz since returning from injury and both contests have seen him come off the bench.
