Next Wednesday, FC Barcelona will head to the French capital for the opening leg of their UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain. With a brief break before the match, rumors are beginning to surface regarding the tactical strategy the Catalan team will employ for the upcoming contest.

As attention hones in on the midfield and the potential availability of Frenkie de Jong and Pedri, a recent report sheds light on the possible starting lineup for the Spanish team as they kick off at the Parc des Princes.

Journalist Gabriel Sans reports that Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is already outlining his lineup for the match against PSG. As things stand, this is the likely lineup: Marc-André ter Stegen will be the goalkeeper.

On defense, the Spanish boss will count on Jules Koundé, Ronald Araújo, Pau Cubarsí, and João Cancelo. In the midfield, Sans reveals that for now, there will be no de Jong or Pedri as the Catalan side goes with İlkay Gündoğan, Andreas Christensen, and Sergi Roberto.

Finally, in the attack, it will be a trio of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha. Will this all be enough to get a positive result in Paris? Everyone will find out in a few days.
