Paris Saint-Germain has been no stranger to grabbing players from FC Barcelona over the years. The capital club has taken Neymar Jr., Xavi Simons, and Ousmane Dembélé from the Spanish side, and there could be more.
While both teams prepare to face each other in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie, PSG’s front office could be plotting to scout a pair of Barcelona players for a potential swoop this summer.
According to journalist Ramon Salmurri, PSG are interested in Jules Koundé and Héctor Fort. Furthermore, he reveals that a meeting was held a few weeks ago in Barcelona.
The Catalan club aren’t keen on selling Fort, who is under contract until 2025, but they might be open to a Koundé sale. The Frenchman is under contract until 2027, and he could be a player that Barcelona might sell to fund other purchases this summer.

Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see whether PSG push for one or both defenders, as they intend to bolster their backline this summer.
