One of the rumors when Luis Enrique arrived to manage Paris Saint-Germain last summer was that he was luring top Spanish talent like FC Barcelona’s Pedri. The midfielder displayed his talents in the 3-2 first-leg win over the Parisians on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
This summer, the capital club will likely bolster its midfield in what could be a new era for them, as reports suggest that Kylian Mbappé will leave as a free agent. Nonetheless, the Ligue 1 side should consider the young midfielder a potential target.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona is keen on locking Pedri to a new deal, as talks will get underway soon. Furthermore, Romano notes that PSG have been keen on signing him in recent years, but he has always rejected any approach to continue at Barça.

Nonetheless, Pedri isn’t the only Barcelona player that the French giants have locked their eyes on as Gavi is another talent that PSG could be looking to lure to the French capital.
