Crystal Palace sensation Michael Olise is a player who’s reportedly open to playing for Paris Saint-Germain. The capital club must replace Kylian Mbappé’s production this summer when the Frenchman reportedly leaves when his contract expires in June.
Nonetheless, the 22-year-old is a player many teams, including those in the Premier League, will be eyeing this summer transfer window. The winger has appeared in 13 games this season, scoring six goals and registering three assists.
Olise has missed a significant portion of this season with a hamstring injury. However, this doesn’t seem to scare any teams away from pursuing him in a few months. The Guardian reports that Arsenal are keen on the Eagles’ standout to bolster their attack for next season.
There’s also a £65 million release clause in his contract that will become active in the summer. The forward is under contract until 2027, so it will take a significant sum to lure him away from Selhurst Park.
It will be interesting to see how PSG approaches this summer to begin this new era without Mbappé. Could the Parisians enter this race, or will they look elsewhere?
