Real Madrid Using Aggressive Tactic in Pursuit of PSG Target, Fabrizio Romano Says

LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro is Paris Saint-Germain’s reported top target to bolster their backline this summer. The 18-year-old fits the mold of being a young and top French talent that the Parisians likely want. Nonetheless, Real Madrid continues to stand in their way.

A report last month revealed that Les Dogues aren’t willing to let the player leave for a fee of less than €60 million. As a result, interested clubs must come with heavy offers if they wish to land one of the top young defenders.

With the Yoro saga continuing to unfold, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano notes that Real Madrid are taking an aggressive approach to ensure they land the young defender.

According to Romano, the Spanish giants are regularly sending their scouts to France to monitor Yoro, one of the main targets for the present and future. Real Madrid are insisting because they’re aware of other clubs’ interest, including PSG, who have been working on it since January.

MARCA’s José Félix Díaz recently reported that the La Liga side is confident that they can secure the player for a fee ranging between €30 and €40 million. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid does land the player for that amount or if PSG can swoop in for the steal.
