It’s rumored that Kylian Mbappé will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer once his contract expires in June. There’s a lot of speculation that the Frenchman will make a move to Real Madrid and players from the the Spanish club are rolling out the welcome mat.
Recently, Rodrygo warmly welcomed the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, even though it may result in him having to accept reduced playing time next season. The latest player to discuss the potential arrival of Mbappé is Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal.
The veteran defender notes that the Frenchman possibly coming to the Spanish capital wouldn’t only be a benefit for Los Blancos, but La Liga also becomes a beneficiary factor.
“It seems like it’s a possibility that he could come at the end of the season,” Carvajal told COPE radio on Tuesday (h/t GOAL). “The best players have to play for Madrid, and he’s one of the best.
“It would be good for LaLiga, for [Spanish] football. If great players come to our league — to our team, even better — but [Robert] Lewandowski went to Barcelona, and he’s a top player. It makes our league grow, our football is better and that’s good for everyone.”
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery spoke with the media on Tuesday and, of course, answered a question regarding the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. The youngster noted his desire to see Mbappé continue with the Ligue 1 giants, but that seems impossible now.
