Kylian Mbappé will reportedly leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract expires in June. Many expect the Frenchman to sign with Real Madrid as a free agent. As a result, players will get asked about the 25-year-old’s arrival whenever talking to the media.
The latest to comment on the Mbappé saga is Rodrygo, who extended a warm invitation to the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner to join them in a few months.
“I would love for Mbappé to come,” Rodrygo said (h/t Sport.fr). “I always want to play with the best players, and he is one of the best in the world. I would love to, but I can’t talk too much about him. He is a PSG player, and I have to respect that.”
Considering Mbappé’s imminent arrival, the Brazilian’s future with the team next season remains uncertain, as his playing time is likely to be reduced.
According to a recent report from Defensa Central, Real Madrid has placed a hefty €100 million to €120 million price tag on Rodrygo, making him a prime target for several European clubs, including Arsenal.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal or any other European club decides to pay this amount to give the 23-year-old a more prominent role than he might have at Real Madrid.
