Kylian Mbappé will reportedly leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season when his contract with the capital club expires. All signs point to him joining Real Madrid as a free agent and one reporter believes the Spanish side are operating as if the player is already theirs.
Nothing is official yet about a signing, but many assume it’s only a matter of time before the Frenchman makes the switch to the Spanish capital. MARCA’s José Félix Díaz (h/t Bernabéu Digital) revealed the latest regarding the Mbappé saga, which will end in a few months.
According to Diaz, the La Liga team are already gearing up for everything that would come with the signing of the French star, starting with the type of player they would be bringing in and how he would fit into a star-studded dressing room.
If the 25-year-old does move to Real Madrid, Mbappé will likely have a lot on his plate this summer. As a result, the Frenchman could opt out of the Olympics despite likely wanting to win a gold medal in his hometown.
A recent report from L’Equipe notes that the chances of seeing Mbappé at the Olympic Games are reduced. This is all good news for Real Madrid who won’t have any issues integrating the player to their squad.
