Kylian Mbappé will likely play against his former club, AS Monaco, for the last time in Ligue 1 on Friday. The Frenchman is reportedly leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract to join Real Madrid expires.
Monaco defender Wilfried Singo noted what type of forward Real Madrid will receive should he sign. Singo was asked whether he considers Mbappé the best player in football. Although he didn’t give a straight answer, his response was complimentary of the PSG star.
“Is Mbappé the best player in the world for you? It’s possible,” Singo told MARCA (h/t Le10Sport). “Kylian is a special attacker who has a lot of qualities. For a defender like me, being faced with teams of this caliber and players of this level allows me to know at what level I am. I hope it will be a good duel.”
La Liga’s Javier Tebas participated this Thursday in the Football Business summit of the Financial Times in London, where, among other topics, he discussed the impact of Bellingham and the future arrival of Mbappé to Real Madrid.
Furthermore, the league executive notes that the Spanish giants will have no issue fitting the Frenchman into their economic payroll, even though he admits not knowing how much the club will pay the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
