Real Madrid’s Celebrity Fan Makes Bold Statement on Kylian Mbappé’s Impending Arrival

Kylian Mbappé hasn’t made an official announcement about his future yet. The 25-year-old is likely to depart Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, with speculation mounting that he’ll make a move to Real Madrid.

However, one American actor believes that the Spanish giants don’t need the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. Viggo Mortensen notes that Los Blancos are fine without the Frenchman and the the PSG superstar missed his chance to join the La Liga team two years ago.

“We don’t need Mbappé at Real Madrid,” Mortensen said. “It’s just for the ego of President Florentino. I think that with Bellingham and Rodrygo, we have what it takes, it’s not necessary. He should’ve came here two years ago. It’s too late now.”

Nonetheless, once Mbappé starts scoring goals for Real Madrid, many will forget about him spurning them two years ago. Additionally, they’ll know that the Frenchman is above the likes of Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr.

For now, Mbappé can end his PSG tenure in a positive manner with a reasonable path to a UEFA Champions League final, considering what’s on the other side of the bracket. If the Parisians can end this season with a treble, then it’s the best way for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner to say goodbye.
