On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Paris Saint-Germain has their eyes on Liverpool star Luis Díaz on their shortlist to replace Kylian Mbappé. Now, more information is coming out regarding the pursuit of the Colombian player.
The latest report again comes from Colombia, as Win Sport’s Pipe Sierra reports that the Parisians’ interest in Díaz is real. Furthermore, he adds that the capital have the 27-year-old on their list of options for the summer market.
However, there is no progress today, and they have not contacted Liverpool about a potential deal for Díaz. The Colombian winger has more than three more years on his contract with the Reds. So the Premier League side holds the advantage in any negotiations with PSG.
🚨 El interés del #PSG en Luis Díaz (27) es real; lo tienen en su lista de opciones para el mercado de verano. Sin embargo, hoy día no existe ningún avance y tampoco se han contactado con el #Liverpool 🇨🇴

The lack of progress might be due to the fact that Díaz is not a unanimous internal target. Until all parties agree on his file, there will be no official move for the former FC Porto star. The Parisians’ priority this summer in attack is a left-winger, so it would make sense that Díaz’s name is among the targets.
