Paris Saint-Germain will aim to bolster their midfield this summer, and various files have surfaced over the last couple of months. One of the latest names the capital club could pursue is FC Porto’s Alan Varela.
In recent days, the Argentine has been a player on PSG’s radar. Furthermore, A Bola reports (h/t Le10Sport) that the Parisians have monitored the 22-year-old several times, but it doesn’t matter as Porto doesn’t intend to negotiate.
According to the report, the Portuguese side wants any interested club to pay the €70 million release clause. The capital club also faces competition for the midfielder as Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are keen on the player.
