Ahead of Friday’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinals draw, there are discussions about which matchups are favorable for which clubs. For FC Barcelona, one expert believes drawing Paris Saint-Germain is ideal.
PSG, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid all secured their spots after successfully progressing from the Round of 16.
Nonetheless, SPORT’s Toni Juanmartí wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he would prefer that the Catalan side draw either PSG or Bayern Munich for their quarterfinal matchup.
“Surely few people will agree, but I would prefer Barcelona to face PSG or Bayern rather than Atlético in the quarterfinals,” Juanmartí wrote.

After defeating OGC Nice in the Coupe de France quarterfinals on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, the 53-year-old was asked about the prospects of facing Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, or Real Madrid.
Despite his public response to the media, one report surfaced on Thursday noting that, behind closed doors, Enrique wants a crack at his former club, Barcelona. It will be interesting to see if either side gets their way and the draw ends up being Barcelona-PSG.
