PSG on Alert: Barcelona’s Defender to Stop Mbappé Suffers Injury

On Saturday, RMC Sport reported that Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola suffered a Grade 2 hamstring injury in his left thigh. As a result, the 21-year-old will miss the matches against Olympique de Marseille (March 31) and Stade Rennais (April 3).

The French media outlet also revealed that Barcola’s availability against FC Barcelona is highly uncertain. Currently, there’s a certain pessimism within PSG about the player’s ability to be fully fit by April 10th at Parc des Princes.

However, the FIFA international window now has a Barcelona player picking up an injury. SPORT relays the information that Jules Koundé finished the friendly match against Germany with some problems with his right ankle.

The Frenchman would exit the game in the 60th minute, and now the alarms are ringing at Barcelona. Losing Koundé for an extended period of time would be devastating for the Catalan side.

A recent report revealed that Xavi Hernandez’s big dilemma is determining who will be the right back to stop Kylian Mbappé, who is picking between Koundé and Ronald Araujo. As a result, if Koundé misses the first leg, then it will be the Urugyuan who has the task.
