Marcus Rashford Not Interested In Move to Paris According to Latest Reports

Despite consistent rumours that PSG are interested in the England attacker, new reports suggest a move is unlikely to happen this summer. Rashford is excited to help new Manchester United owners, INEOS, with their ambitious plan to return the English giants to the top of European Football.

PSG were first linked with a move for Rashford two years ago, when his agent was reported to have met with PSG officials. Despite signing a new deal at Old Trafford last summer, the Manchester club’s rollercoaster form has seen speculation that Rashford could depart rumble on.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed an admiration for Marcus Rashford in the past, and it’s easy to see how he’d fit into Luis Enrique’s side when Kylian Mbappe departs. While the Frenchman is on another level in terms of output, their traits and physical profile are very similar.

Rashford’s output has been up and down over the last few years. The 2022/23 season was the best of his career, as he scored 30 goals and assisted 11 more in all competitions. Erik ten Hag’s arrival at Old Trafford appeared to be a catalyst for Rashford to take his career to the next level.

However, he’s failed to replicate those heights this season, and his drop-off has been a major factor in United’s disappointing campaign. The Red Devils were among the bookmakers’ favorites to win the Premier League at the start of the season, but they now face an uphill battle to secure Champions League football.

INEOS, who also owns a majority stake in Ligue 1 club Nice, have made several ambitious claims since taking over football operations at the English club. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who heads the company, has promised to rebuild Manchester United both on and off the pitch. This statement of intent has reportedly convinced Rashford to stay in Manchester for the foreseeable future.
