João Félix Shares Major Advantage Barcelona Has Over PSG in Champions League Tie

Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals following Friday’s draw. It’s the first time they’ve met in the knockout stage since 2021.

Over the last 24 hours, several players on the Spanish team have talked about the looming matchup against the Ligue 1 side. One of them is João Félix, who stated the one advantage they have heading into the tie.

“We know the difficulty of playing against PSG,” Félix said (h/t Barca Universal). “They have a good team, they train well and they have great players, but I think that playing the second leg in our stadium will be a good thing for us.”

The winner of this matchup will play against Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals, putting PSG or Barcelona on track to the final in London.

Additionally, the two-match series will feature a showdown between PSG coach Luis Enrique and his former team and mark the return of Ousmane Dembélé.

In a recent TV3 interview, Robert Lewandowski highlighted that this upcoming two-leg matchup could push the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner to shine, as he has added motivation.
