Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga spoke to the media on Tuesday ahead of their UEFA Champions League second-leg contest against RB Leipzig.
Of course, the Frenchman received questions about Kylian Mbappé, who will reportedly join the Spanish side once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires. Nonetheless, the former Stade Rennais player opted to sidestep any questions regarding the 25-year-old.
“You want to know the truth? I haven’t spoken with him at all, and I don’t know what he will do next summer,” Camavinga said (h/t Football Espana). “Shall I tell you the truth again? Mbappe is not our player, we are going to respect PSG. I’m not talking about that. I don’t know what’s going to happen, that’s the truth.”
Bradley Barcola scored in Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 first-leg win against Real Sociedad. Ahead of the second leg on Tuesday, Barcola spoke to the media and received a question regarding the recent substitution drama that has transpired in the last two weeks.
However, despite his young age, Barcola also sidestepped the question, not wanting to add fuel to the fire. Both French players are young but are media trained, knowing that these questions from some media members are to get a juicy quote to fan the flames of various rumors regarding the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
