Barcelona Youngster Sends Warning to PSG Ahead of Champions League Clash

Lamine Yamal is one of FC Barcelona’s young standouts that Paris Saint-Germain will need to watch out for in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. Furthermore, the teenager revealed what’s one of his goals in this two-leg matchup.

Yamal is currently with the Spanish national team ahead of their two friendly matches against Colombia and Brazil. The winger revealed to MARCA the moment when he wanted to be decisive.

“What goal do I want to score? In the return match against PSG, the one for victory,” Yamal told the Spanish outlet

Despite Yamal’s talents, German football legend Lothar Matthäus provided German outlet Bild with his pick to advance to the semifinals between PSG and FC Barcelona, offering a series of arguments to support the Parisians as the team that should advance.

While Yamal is projected to be a top player in the future, Matthäus notes that the Catalan side lacks the true superstar that PSG has in Kylian Mbappé.

Furthermore, he adds that Robert Lewandowski isn’t what he once was, noting his struggles at Barcelona this season, especially in the Champions League, where he scored only three goals in seven matches.
