The first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain is on April 10. Ahead of the match at the Parc des Princes, the Catalan side received a boost as they’ll have two critical midfielders for the encounter.
Both teams had players dinged up upon returning from the FIFA international break. The Parisians are racing against time to have Bradley Barcola fit for the first leg while Robert Lewandowski suffered from thigh discomfort following physical fatigue.
Nonetheless, Barcelona received good news on Thursday. Mundo Deportivo’s Fernando Polo reports that the Spanish giants expect and trust that Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will be ready for the first leg against PSG.

It will be interesting to see whether they’ll be able to start and play a full 90 or if there are any restrictions on their minutes. Still, it’s two players that Luis Enrique and his team will need to account for when the ball gets rolling in Paris.
