Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres is among the names that many European clubs are vying for this summer. Over the last few weeks, PSG, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, have been cited as a team interested in the Swedish striker.
According to a recent report, the Portuguese club want at least €120 million for Gyökeres. This season, he has scored 36 goals and registered 14 assists in 39 appearances for Sporting.
Nonetheless, a new club is entering the race for the 25-year-old. Diario AS reports that Atlético Madrid is the latest club showing interest in Gyökeres. The Spanish club are attempting to find a long-term solution to their No. 9 issue.
In recent days, Atlético Madrid have also been linked to PSG goal scorer Gonçalo Ramos as a potential solution to their striker position. The 22-year-old scored nine goals and registered one assist in 30 appearances across all competitions.
The La Liga team seem to want to bolster its attack for next season, and it will be interesting to see whether this is thanks to a current PSG player or a potential target.
