FC Copenhagen forward Roony Bardghji, under contract until 2025, draws interest from several European clubs. Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly one of the clubs eyeing the Swedish player, but there’s stiff competition.
A few days ago, the Spanish media reported that Barcelona face a challenge from PSG and other top European clubs to sign Bardghji. On Tuesday, a report from HITC Football revealed that there’s another team aiming to land the teenager.
According to the report, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham, and Manchester United are the four clubs that have been pushing hardest in recent weeks as the race to sign the £20 million-rated Roony Bardghji ramps up.
Furthermore, HITC Football notes that talks are ongoing – via intermediaries – with several clubs. As a result, it’s a crowded race to see who lands the youngster.
While the Parisians might be keen on young talent, seeing if they want to get into a bidding war will be interesting. Additionally, the capital club has other needs in the midfield and defense, so it’s unlikely that they will push hard for a forward.
Xavi Simons will return following his loan spell with RB Leipzig, and PSG plans to grant more prominent roles to forwards like Bradley Barcola next season for their development. Additionally, PSG remains open to seizing any opportunities that may arise in the transfer market.
