Real Madrid Only See PSG as Competition for €60M French Talent

LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro will be in high demand this summer transfer window. Under contract until 2025, the French club will need to sell the player should he decide not to sign an extension.

In recent months, his name has been associated with the big European clubs, and from France, it is claimed that Liverpool, Real Madrid, and PSG have presented firm offers.

The inflationary spiral has significantly increased the player’s valuation. Initial discussions at the start of the season hinted at a potential transfer fee of approximately €20 million. Reports from the French media now suggest that Lille’s president, Olivier Letang, is unwilling to entertain the departure of their promising talent for anything less than €60 million.

SPORT reports that Real Madrid is in no hurry. The Spanish side is aware that negotiations with PSG are not progressing. Furthermore, there’s no more competition in the market. Now it remains to be seen how far they can go with Yoro’s camp and their economic demands.

The race to sign Yoro appeared to be in favor of PSG, as they had a clear advantage. They were on track to close the deal and even considered the option of doing so in the winter window due to multiple defensive absences in Paris.

However, it was not possible. Lille and the player’s camp reportedly increased their demands. PSG’s response is clear: Lille already has the economic proposal and now must accept or reject it. If the Parisians want to land, there will be stiff competition from the La Liga side. Additionally, they have to be ready to pay because Yoro won’t come cheap.
