With reports suggesting Kylian Mbappé will leave Paris Saint-Germain, the next question arises about his brother’s future, Ethan Mbappé. The midfielder’s contract with the Parisians expires in June, and there’s speculation over his future.
A recent report from journalist Abdellah Boulma reports that the younger Mbappé and PSG are in talks to sign his first pro-contract. However, the Spanish press is suggesting another outcome.
According to the Spanish show El Chiringuito, Kylian Mbappé and his family have asked Real Madrid to recruit his brother. Furthermore, they reveal that Los Blancos would have given their agreement.
“The pre-contract was signed two weeks ago. However, the family made a proposal to Real in recent days,” assures journalist Eduardo Inda. “
“It is a subject added to the pre-contract, which would not call into question this one. It is a desire, a transfer to zero. The family of Mbappé and Mbappé asked Real Madrid a few days ago to recruit his brother Ethan Mbappé. Real thought about it and, ultimately, said yes.”
The information from Spain also contradicts what Le Parisien reported, noting that Ethan’s future isn’t linked to his brother.
Additionally, the French media outlet revealed that when the older Mbappé told his teammates that he was leaving at the end of the season, Luis Enrique said to Ethan Mbappé: “And you, Ethan, are you going next summer too?”
Ethan replied with a smile: “No, I’m a Titi; I’m staying at PSG.”
The younger Mbappé has already made his PSG debut, with the squad rotating to compete in three competitions. As a result, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the teenager gets more minutes to keep players in the midfield fresh as the squad aims for a treble.
