Rennes had PSG on the ropes, but the Parisians maintained their unbeaten streak. The last loss that Luis Enrique and his team experienced was in November, when they fell to AC Milan; since then, the Ligue 1 giants have gone on an 18-match unbeaten streak.
X account F.C. InterData highlighted the longest unbeaten streaks in Europe’s top five leagues and PSG ranks as the fourth best. There are only three other clubs with longer unbeaten streaks than the French club.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan are ahead of PSG, as both clubs have a 20-game unbeaten streak. The team with the longest unbeaten streak is German side Bayer Leverkusen, who hasn’t lost in their last 23 contests.
Although the Parisians are fourth in this stat, the streak does go to show how much the team has improved with Luis Enrique as manager this season.
