Layvin Kurzawa could be leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the coming hours. His next destination could be Scotland. A move away from the French capital would allow him to find his career again, but whether it works out or not remains to be seen.
According to Stephen McGowan, Celtic is currently hunting for a left-back. Although they showed interest in Hugo Bueno from Wolverhampton Wanderers, the English club didn’t seem receptive.
Agents now suggest Kurzawa, a 31-year-old left-back from PSG, as a potential option. The Frenchman has appeared in one match this 2023-24 season and has played eight minutes.

The veteran defender’s contract expires this summer, so moving to Celtic or anywhere else would be ideal for him to create a market for himself when he becomes a free agent in July. During his tenure with PSG, Kurzawa has played 154 matches while scoring 14 goals and registering 23 assists.
It will be interesting to see if a move transpires in the following hours or if he’ll have to wait until the summer.
