PSG Eyes Manchester United Star, Awaits Initiative for Potential Move

Paris Saint-Germain will need to replace Kylian Mbappé when he reportedly leaves the Parisians in June. The 25-year-old will become a free agent in a few months after his contract expires.

Over the past few days, there have been many names surfacing as potential targets that PSG wants to land to help replace Mbappé’s production. One name that the capital club could target is Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that PSG is considering Rashford as a potential addition to their team. However, they are hesitant to make a move unless they receive a clear indication from Rashford himself that he wants to leave the Red Devils.

This caution stems from PSG’s belief that previous interactions with Rashford before he extended his contract with Manchester United were merely attempts to gain leverage.

While PSG still values Rashford as a player, they acknowledge that pursuing him won’t be straightforward. Rashford is seen as fully committed to the challenge of playing under Manchester United’s new INEOS-led sporting department.

Despite this, Rashford remains on PSG’s list of potential targets alongside Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leao, and Benjamin Sesko. PSG, however, won’t actively pursue any of these options unless Rashford shows a significant willingness to join them.
