Paris Saint-Germain reportedly has their eyes on Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 23-year-old Georgian is among the top contenders to replace Kylian Mbappé, who will reportedly exit this summer.
However, the capital club will face competition for Kvaratskhelia, as FC Barcelona is among the suitors vying for the Serie A player.
Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, has already said his client is motivated to play for Barça or Real Madrid. However, he has offers from PSG and different Premier League and Serie A clubs.
The representative himself spoke about the player’s future when asked directly if there is interest from FC Barcelona or PSG.
“Of course, there are also offers for Khvicha from the best clubs,” Jugeli said (h/t Mundo Deportivo). “Of course! How is it possible that there are no proposals? In May, it will become clearer.”
The 23-year-old Georgian winger has struggled to perform at his best in Campania this season, facing frustration and low confidence amidst the team’s on and off-field challenges. He has managed only six goals and five assists in 33 games so far.
Kvaratskhelia is signed with Napoli until June 2027, and it might not be simple to lure him away from the Serie A team since Aurelio De Laurentiis is known for being a tough negotiator.
