Kylian Mbappé is reportedly leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract expires. The Frenchman will likely join Real Madrid as a free agent, but before that happens, the forward is making other moves.
Diario AS reports that Mbappé has registered several trademarks with the European Intellectual Property Office. What are the brands that the PSG star wants to protect? Here’s the list:
- His last name, first name, and initials
- His crossed arms celebration
- His lines “You don’t talk to me about age” and “football has changed”

While reports suggest that the 25-year-old is taking a pay cut to join the Spanish giants, it appears he’s ready to make that money up outside the pitch via these trademarks.
Nonetheless, Mbappé still stands to earn significant sums through bonus money. Cadena SER reports that he will earn a total of €14 million net and a €30 million bonus, with a total value soaring to €500 million for each of the five years the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is at Real Madrid.
