Brentford or Napoli Star Should Replace Kylian Mbappé at PSG, Pundit Says

ESPN FC pundit Frank Leboeuf has listed two players he wants to see replace Kylian Mbappé should the 25-year-old leave Paris Saint-Germain this year.

PSG must prepare for a potential squad that doesn’t include the Frenchman. Real Madrid is keen on landing the player, and this year could be the moment he finally says yes to the Spanish giants.

For Leboeuf, there are two names he wants the Parisians to target to replace Mbappé: Napoli’s Victor Osimhen or Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

“Well, you know we talked about Toney,” Leboeuf said (h/t All Nigeria Soccer). “I think Osimhen will be a good choice for Paris. I don’t know if he wants to go there, but that is the kind of player I see with pace working with Dembele; that could also be a good match. My favorite is Osimhen, and since Toney seems to be available, it is a good possibility as well.”

The upcoming weeks will be intriguing to observe as we wait to see whether the winger decides to leave his hometown club for a new adventure with Real Madrid. There’s also the possibility he remains and rejects the Spanish giants once again.

However, PSG seems prepared for any potential outcome. If Mbappé departs, it may signal the conclusion of an era, halting PSG’s pursuit of prominent figures. Nevertheless, opting for top French talents of his caliber would likely be a prudent choice for the capital club in the future.
