Furthermore, the report indicates that the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion seeks a yearly salary of €70 million and a five-year deal with the La Liga club. However, his salary demands clash with Real Madrid’s set limit, which reportedly stands at €35 million gross.
Currently, the Mbappé family earns approximately €200 million annually through bonuses and commissions. Fayza Lamari, the player’s mother, representative, and negotiator, is known for her firm and assertive approach. Since Mbappé would join as a free agent after his contract expires, bonuses would become a significant factor in negotiations.
Bild provides specific information that Real Madrid would need to pay a signing bonus of €125 million. Coupled with the sought-after annual salary of €70 million, this would elevate the total operation cost to over €400 million throughout the five-year duration of the contract.
This is crazy. I don’t expect Perez and Madrid to succumb to this deal. With Endric coming, we don’t need Mbappe to win the Champions League and become a dominant force in Europe. Mbappe prioritizes money over anything. My take is they Madrid should not go out of their set limit.
