PSG Prepared to Battle AC Milan, Atletico Madrid for RC Lens Defender

Paris Saint-Germain could be overhauling its center-back position in the coming months. The arrival of Lucas Beraldo this winter transfer window might kick-start bringing in more younger talent to the position.

Marquinhos turns 30 in May, Danilo Pereira will be 33 this year, and Milan Škriniar turns 29 next month. As a result, Beraldo might not be the only young center-back arriving in the French capital. PSG reportedly has its eyes on a Ligue 1 defender.

Leny Yoro will be in demand, but if the Parisians decide they don’t want to pay the asking price, PSG could be eyeing another Ligue 1 defender. According to L’Equipe, RC Lens’ Facundo Medina is on the radar of several clubs, including PSG.

The French media outlet notes that Lens isn’t moving on from their center-back this January widow. Medina is essential to manager Franck Haise’s team and has no intention of abandoning the club.

Nonetheless, PSG, Monaco, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid are following the Argentine closely for a potential move this summer. Medina has made 22 appearances for Lens this 2023-24 season in all competitions.
