More conflicting reports regarding Paris Saint-Germain’s possible interest in Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimarães exist.
The entire saga began with a report from ESPN Brasil. The outlet revealed that the Brazilian midfielder stands out as a top priority for the French giants, and the decision-makers in Paris have been closely monitoring him for a considerable period.
However, French journalist Abdellah Boulma and broadcaster Ben Jacobs reported different information. According to Boulma, PSG wants to sign a midfielder and defender this January, but Guimarães is not among those Paris targets to bolster their midfield.
Still, on Friday, another report linked Guimarães to PSG. TNT Sports Brazil’s Marcelo Bechler reports that PSG is going strong after Guimarães. The Brazilian’s desire to join the French giants will define whether or not the deal gets done.
